Culinary weeks in Saxon Switzerland

from 25th October to 24th November 2019

Our restaurant is participating in the culinary weeks in the Saxon Switzerland. From 25th oktober to 24th november we offer specialties with products from regional producers.

Our chef recommends:
Fillet of wild boar with bacon and apricot on fruity vegetable curry

A lot of goose!

On 11th November is Martinmas.
Starting from this day we serve crispy gooses
194 metres above the river Elbe.

The noble brandies from the Lautergold manufactory

Zwetschgenwasser (plum brandy), Mirabellenbrand (mirabelle brandy) or Apfelbrand (apple brandy)

Fire and ice

In the low season, the beer garden on the Bastei turns into a rustic winter lounge. Here, wrapped in cuddly blankets and warmed by the fire, you can enjoy hot punch, such as hot apricot, plum and cinnamon punch, mandarin and ginger punch and more.

Civil wedding ceremonies and weddings on the Bastei:

For the most beautiful day in live, we have been offering civil wedding ceremonies since 2004 in the romantic scenery of the Basteiklause with a magnificent view over the Elbe Valley. Say "yes" to your partner in this unique sandstone scenery. The bridal couple spend the wedding night in the honeymoon room with a large cozy bed.
